DECATUR

Decatur was founded at the intersection of two Native American trails. The town was named for naval hero Stephen Decatur. It is located in DeKalb County just east of downtown Atlanta.  It is a little city in and of itself.  The quaint little downtown is the main attraction.  It is full of personality from the retro shops to the cool eateries.  The homes are older and brick, smaller bungalows and cottages.  Avondale Estates and Winnona Park are nearby communities.
